When building a detached house, you cannot forget about a material such as fireproof mortar. It will work perfectly if your property is to have a fireplace, cooker and chimney.

Vitcas’ high-quality refractory mortar is a product that can withstand extreme temperatures, with limits as high as 1,400 degrees Celsius. It is a ready-to-use product that simply needs to be mixed and can be immediately applied to the selected surfaces. It is a building material for indoor use. It sets very quickly, providing excellent insulation against smoke, heat and gas as a result. It is a mortar for the chimney with a glue-like consistency, which includes high-quality refractory cement. No water is needed to prepare this mortar. It is ideal for bonding fireclay bricks or chamotte panels.

The fireproof mortar offered by the Vitcas shop can be used for the construction of various heating appliances, such as cookers, fireplaces or heating boilers. It is a product that can be in the immediate vicinity of an open fire source. It can also be used to bond elements of a bread or pizza oven or in fireplaces, also available in the Vitcas shop range. This excellent quality chimney mortar should be applied to well-cleaned surfaces and not exposed to moisture. It is packaged in economical 10kg buckets. This quantity is sufficient to bond approximately 40 fireclay bricks. The mortar should only be used indoors, free of moisture.
